Furniture Friday - The Egg

The egg is a reclining chair designed by Arne Jacobsen, and manufactured by Fritz Hansen in 1958, for Radisson SAS hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The egg series also consists of a foot stool that complements the chair.

Both upholstered in fabric or leather on a steel frame are limited editions, due to the difficulty in making them.

The egg chair is also been used in one of the McDonald outlets in London, and  at the boarding area of San Francisco International Airport.
